The journey takes us through the fascinating and ever changing desert backdrop while we reach the archeological digs at Hili which has various findings 4000yrs old. We drive along the oasis with its ancient irrigation system. Next we will visit the Al Ain Museum situated in the Al Ain fortress which contains artifacts of archaeological and folkloric interest. This fortress is the birth place of Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, the founder, former President of UAE and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi. We make our way towards Jebel Hafeet-mountain rises 1240m. It is a well-known landmark and a contemporary tourist attraction where we will have a Bird’s Eye view of entire City of Al Ain. On a clear bright sunny day, we can even see neighbouring country Oman from the mountain top.
Finally before returning to Dubai, we shall visit the traditional camel market. |
